I did a demo of one a couple years back hoping it would compliment my Ventrac. It did not. I'm sure it has its place, the cut was decent for what it is, but it is not a true "finish" cut. It's more of a hybrid brush hog. The one we tried out had the terra flex tracks and they will tear up a lawn pretty quick.

 

Thanks GC, they do make 2 different decks... a brush hog like one that has the chains in front and a second deck that is a finishing deck. The one I'm looking at has their Turf tracks, so way less aggressive than the others. I was curious how it turns vs a wheeled Z.

You definitely have to do 3 point turns or else it'll tear up turf like a ctl

 

On another forum I am on, a guy back east has one and has shared some of his experiences with his. Short story: Nice cut, but terribly hard to work on.
